Firstly, Somnia is not a series of hairstyles or a simple photo shoot. It is a visual narrative constructed from sensitivity, form, and light. This collection was conceived and took shape at ATICA Salón, a creative space where hair aesthetics are understood as a personal language.

A dream come true: Isa Otón and the founding vision

Isa Otón, co-founder of ATICA Salon, always had a dream: to create a space where styling would be experienced as an artistic, sensitive, and deeply personal experience. She didn't want to simply open a hair salon, but rather a place where hair would be styled with emotion, technique, and intention.

With Somnia, that dream takes another step forward. Because this is not only ATICA's first collection: it is also the realization of a vision that Isa has imagined for years. Designing a collection from scratch, in her own space, alongside a creative team with whom she shares values and sensibilities, makes Somnia more than just a project: it is a personal manifesto turned into an image.

Why was the decision made to create the Somnia collection?

Somnia was born out of a creative need: to explore the territory where dreams and reality merge. At ATICA, we understand styling not only as a technique, but as an artistic language. This collection stems from the desire to translate the dream world—its floating forms, its diffuse logic, its surreal beauty—into hairstyles that challenge convention.

In turn, Somnia is a response to today's pace of life: a fast-paced world, saturated with stimuli and images. That is why this collection invites you to stop, contemplate, and let yourself be carried away by the intangible. We set out to create an aesthetic experience that spoke of the desire for escape, introspection, and visual poetry.

Each look was conceived as a sculpture of the subconscious, using hair as a means of expression. As a result, Somnia is an intimate, visual, and sensory journey that invites you to reconnect with the essential.

The photographer: Pablo Sola, the gaze that transforms

Behind Somnia's visual universe lies the talent of photographer Pablo Sola (@pablosola_art). His style is characterized by a poetic exploration of the image, with an extraordinary ability to capture intimate atmospheres, subtle gestures, and emotional textures.

Throughout his career, Pablo has developed a visual approach that blends art, fashion, and documentary. In Somnia, his gaze is not limited to recording: he interprets, shapes, and breathes life into each scene.

The architecture of the salon interacts with the hair, shaping it with its own geometry. Thus, the salon does not act as a backdrop, but as an essential part of the visual language.

Styling: intention, form, and emotion

The creative soul of ATICA Salon, Isa Otón, together with the technical precision of Carlos Verbena, form the aesthetic heart of Somnia. Each hairstyle was designed with consideration for how it would interact with Pablo's lighting, each model's face, and the energy of the space.

Isa defines the poetic language of each style, paying close attention to nuances, volumes, and texture.

Carlos executes cuts with millimeter precision, creating lines that float or break depending on what the visual narrative demands.

Both understand hair as a living, malleable material that can be as moving as a gesture or a glance.

Three models, three ways of living the dream

  • Tadino (@tadinosaurio) introduces contrast, visual strength, and geometry. The styling highlights its natural structure with a sculptural approach.
